Studying Strategic Foresight and Innovation

Last year I started studying a Master of Design degree in Strategic Foresight and Innovation
This part-time program is at OCAD, Toronto’s art & design university, and has been keeping me too busy to blog!
In my first year of courses, we learned human-centric design thinking to create new business models and smooth customer experiences via journey mapping.  We’ve used visual thinking to describe complex systems and find interventions in wicked problems.  We collaborate intensively on group projects to maximize creativity, sharing and synthesis.  My upcoming courses include policy design, strategy, forecasting, research and innovation, then a Masters Research Project.
I’m already blending these skills and new perspectives into my consulting toolbox.  Please drop me a line to learn more!

  2. Hi Alana, I’m considering applying to OCAD’s Strategic Foresight and Innovation masters program and wondered if I could ask you a few questions about the program.

  3. Hi Alana, I’m considering applying to OCAD’s SFI program as well but wanted to get more insights about the course and see if the course is suitable for me. It would be very helpful if you could provide me more information regarding the same.
